The Dead Space series has already seen two animated adaptations: Dead Space: Downfall in 2008 and Dead Space: The Aftermath in 2011. While the upcoming movie will be Momoa’s first foray into the Dead Space universe, it’s not the franchise’s first time on the silver screen. The Brilliance of James Wan An ordinary rescue mission turns into a nightmare as Clarke is faced with mutated corpses known as Necromorphs, brought to life by an alien artifact. If the film adheres to the game’s storyline, Clarke is a member of a rescue team responding to a distress signal from a space vessel named The Ishimura. While it remains unconfirmed as to which character Momoa will portray in Dead Space, the chances are high that he could be stepping into the boots of engineer Isaac Clarke. I don’t know about you, but I can’t wait to see how Momoa adapts to this new challenge.
